SEQUENCE OF EVENTS

From:  9th June 2021

To:       3rd April 2022

This started as a general chit chat for a few weeks.

He told me he was separated from his wife and child, living in an apartment in a hotel complex, arranged by the management.  At this stage he did not want the media to know of his pending divorce, as this could jeopardise his career.

Then declared he loved me.  Wanted to meet me, but there were constraints due to management.  He stated that he had difficulty with a previous fan and had been blackmailed.

He informed me there would be a cost involved to meet, this could be in the region of £3 – 4,000.

He also wanted to introduce me to his management as his fiancé.

The saga for payment demands continued, they demanded the following.

  • Reservation Fee
  • Membership Card Fee
  • Activation of Membership Card Fee
  • Security and Policing
  • Maintenance and Parking Fee for the Jet

Not happy with the above payments, they went for another bomb-shell.

The management stated that to complete the trip request I would need to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement, the fee for this document as it must be stamped and signed would be £17,500.

Now at this stage I felt my investigation had proved beyond a reasonable doubt, and my time with this scammer should cease.

However, I thought I should try the angle of trying to get a refund to see what might happen.

Well, nothing, and I have requested on several occasions for a refund of my payments to the management they have never replied to my emails, (no surprise there).

One interesting point I would like to share

The first Western Union payment was to an Ilkin Habibov (again in Turkey).  However, this payment was flagged by Western Union, because over the last 3 months he had already received and claimed over 3,000 euros, and therefore, they would not fulfil the payment as this had been flagged as a possible scam.
